The refined Jacquard fabric “Bavarian Herringbone”, with its subtle coloration and characteristic irregularities, is woven by the renowned Höfer weaving mill on Lake Chiemsee in Bavaria.
There, the textile trade has been practiced and lived since 1951 with the greatest passion for three generations.
Among connoisseurs, the family business is considered an exclusive insider tip when it comes to traditional fabrics from the region.
The interplay of virgin wool and natural linen gives the fabric its noble sheen. The characteristic irregularities are an expression of the high quality of the natural materials used and make each piece unique.
